OSLO WINTER WONDERLAND # 3
I have captured this beauty many times, but have never seen her as beautiful as today - blindfolded and still full of joy and gracefull energy!
She is a part of the sculpture park at Ekeberg in Oslo that is a tribute to women.
The sculptures are meant to be a part of the forrest landscape.
It has been alot of debate about the sculpture park that is not finished yet. I shall not use many lines on the debate, except to say that the sculpture park is a gift to Oslo from a wealthy gentleman. The dilemmas have been: Shall this gentleman be the one that chose the sculptures, and will it really be a tribute to women, or just the prototype of a young and beautiful woman - and has this man really a good taste or will the forrest be full of kitsch?? The solution became that a comittee decide which sculptures that will be included in the future - and the gentleman pays :-))
This sculpture is made of Kirsten Kokkin.
