Easter Road not for Thrills.

A beautiful morning looking out of the window as I tried to help fix soem of the data issues this morning. Eventually got a stage that I can rerun my jobs.

Put on my new cords, they are brilliant. Real men wear cords.

The girls' football club I am involved with were getting an award today at Easter Road. So I headed off there via Holyrood park to meet a fellow committe man as he was watching his children run in the great north run. Saw a couple of guys I used to play rugby with and cheered them on.

We headed off down to the home of Hibs and into a hospitality suite. Lots of clubs getting various awards and it was great seeing coaches we have locked horns with over the season. We got the highest award, a Community Award from the SFA. Hopefully as well as the award we will get some training kit.
It felt good as we have all put loads of effort into getting the club started and off the ground.

My fellow coaches watched the first half of the Hibs Ayr game, 12 minutes for the first Ayr fan to be escorted out of the ground(lucky him), a flare set off at the Ayr end led to a police presence and more evictions. This was more exciting than the game. Most of the players first touch was like a nervous first date.

We left at half time. met by some evicted Ayr fans and I walked home.

Quiet night in and trying to get all the programs run for work on Monday morning.
