What winter's for

Just when you're thoroughly fed up with cold days, long nights, icy footpaths, and not seeing any green, get out on the hill and remind yourself - this is the point of winter. We went up Creag MacRanaich, not the biggest or best-known hill in the Southern Highlands. But quite big enough - it was a great day out but the wind chill was colder than cold. And great views - this is Stob Binnein, with Ben More hiding in the cloud.
