Braved the cold to take loads of pictures today but I was not really that pleased with any of them except for one which was almost the same as W's.
We are back home again after a sad weekend. Catching up with friends was lovely and the mood was surprisingly lighthearted. It was a celebration of her life rather than just a mourning of her passing. Irene would have enjoyed herself immensely being the star of the show. She was with us all in spirit.
The windscreen wipers of our car decided to give up and we were lucky to have dry weather on the way home. We took the pretty route rather than the Motorway to escape lorries spraying us and it meant that we saw some lovely views. The light was beautiful and every now and then the sun came through.
