Spotlights

Yesterday went to local supermarket as needed to purchase replacement spotlight bulbs for two different light fittings. Always have difficulty finding the correct GU10 bulbs so you can imagine my surprise when i found them marked up at the price of 1 pence per bulb! Asked one of the staff to check if the price was correct and they said yes so got a whole box of 24 for 24 pence. Incredible price as these bulbs normally sell for anything from 99 pence to £1.99 each. Still smiling at getting such a bargain!

The cautious part of me was wondering why they were selling them off at such a giveaway price. Probably as sinister as they are not going to stock them anymore. The silly part of me really thought about driving to all their other stores to see if could get more. The frugal part of me said, watch how you use your fuel as prices are so high. In the end the tired part of me decided it was a bargain, not to chance fate, go home and have a lovely glass of sparkling water and finally post my macro shot from the only tree to still have leaves in our local area.
