Not Thyme or Brambling!

I consulted for my blip today.

I spent about half an hour trying to get a half decent picture of these new birds in the garden that could hold its head up on blip. I googled it and I reckon its called a Brambling. Don't know if it has Scottish name.

I then took some pics of my thyme plants which look like they are thriving under the snow with lots of light through water droplets.

Too boring. The verdict was my fallen over patio chair.
