neither silent nor grey

The flat was warm and stuffy so I sought the pleasant coolness of the outside.

The town was loud with shoppers so I went south to a hill where there are no shops.

The hill was also loud.

Instead of shoppers the hill was loud with dog-walking shouters and one particularly imbecilic noise-making-oaf who was playing a mouth organ.

I sought the trees.

They were nice and quiet.

Then I walked another seven miles with brief pauses for coffees, muffins, pops into Botanics and bowls of soups with Nickys.

I also had a packet of mini-eggs.
