A slice of Lesley's life

Sunday

The planned morning of admin was happily interrupted by a phone call and a plan to meet friends at the park. First time out on bikes for a while and I was relieved that Anna remembered the whole cycling without stabilisers thing. Unfortunately her bike was not happy with its neglect and after the gazillionith time of putting the chain back on we admitted defeat.

All this meant a slow journey to the park so it was not long before I had to leave for a theatre group meeting. Nothing startling but was reasonably interesting and not too long which is usually the best to be hoped for from any committee meeting I think. Most interesting was volunteering to be producer for our next play. Haven't actually read it yet but I like the directors and producing is a great way to be involved without too onerous a commitment. Better go and read it soon though.

Home to what turned into a 2 hour session on the Wii Fit with the kids. Lots of fun and a smattering of exercise. The shot is J doing the ski jump. Messed about with just for fun, obviously.

Tonight's entertainment has been laughing at nerds through the medium of the first series of the IT Crowd.

All in all a very jolly weekend. Work tomorrow, almost like I have a real job. And a 5 day week. Not sure how I'll cope.
