The Glamorgan Hunt

A tradition on our yard is for the some of us girls is to go and watch the Glamorgan Hunt off on its New Years Day meet. Especially this year as one of the girls was involved. Since the ban came in they now drag hunt to exercise the hounds so is all entirely legal.

They met today in Cowbridge and as you can see then went cantering through the high street which is an amazing sight. There must have been about 60 or so people going out on the hunt today and with the hounds and horns is a complete assault on the senses.

However the road isn't closed and if you don't know about the hunt this picture is the sight that will greet you as they come up the road. Don't think I'd like my car there!!
