Colorado Trail on Tennessee Pass

Elevation: 10,500 Feet. Temperature: 5 degrees New Snow: 11 inches
Another frigid day on the mountain (-10 degrees without windchill) meant another day on snowshoes in the protection of the woods. After a plate of pancakes at the local Route 66 restaurant and coffee to go from Starbucks, we took a beautiful drive up Tennessee Pass. The Colorado Trail is a 470 mile trail following the Continental Divide from Denver to Durango. We covered a few miles and never saw another person! Another beautiful Colorado day.
