Watt's Up?

Lake Simcoe near Keswick

I had a teaching call for Keswick today so, camera in hand, I thought I'd give the squirrels a break and shoot something else. There was a Keswickian squirrel about but I didn't have a lot of time so I snapped some shots of the frozen Lake. No ice fishing hut in this view. Perhaps another time. Lake Simcoe is named after John Graves Simcoe the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada. He was born in Exeter, England and had an interesting career. Here's another interesting site on Simcoe.
