A Bright Spot in a Dull Day

A big gap in my birding Year List is Grey Heron. To remedy that I went to Adel Dam today. Surely there would be herons on the lake?

Er......no!

So I consoled myself with some bark shots. This one turned out to have a nice red fungus in it too.
