What not to have up the Chimney

Surprised Santa managed to get down.

There were THREE lots like this. No wonder the smoke headed into the room when we lit it.

Amazing we didn't burn the house down.

Took me almost three hours to clean up afterwards - there was soot everywhere and I have blankets and cushions to wash too.

Maybe now I can persuade DH to change to an instant heat version..... there's a reason they stopped putting chimneys in new houses......
