Survival

It has been such a harsh summer this year following an extremely dry winter. We have had water restrictions for ages now and so my poor roses have been struggling. Couldnt resist a pic of the new growth on one of my favourite roses this morning.
Hard to believe that we are so dry and have total fire bans and the other side of the country is under water and enduring all sorts of hardship. However I am sure that just like my roses they will endure, band together as a community, call on that tough Aussie spirit and flower again.
