Mantis In the Mist

New Zealand Praying Mantis, Orthodera novaezealandiae, a youngster that hasn't grown its wings yet. Just visible is the spot on the inside front legs, which in better light, is like a bright blue and purple jewel. Best seen large.

Although I felt better after last night's treatment it was not over yet. The doctor had warned me that the unpleasant symptoms had a couple more days to go. Another day in bed, making frequent trips to the bathroom.
