You're in trouble, pal

These are the words I heard as I came down the stairs.
(And they were not aimed at me!)

When Molly was very young, she took to scratching the kitchen door when she wanted out. Our first solution was to stick a strip of clear plastic down the part of the door she used, and this seemed to stop her for a while.

Last summer, she had a real go at the door, leaving it in quite a mess. Even so, you still can't see the plastic strip in the picture of the original damage.

Today, while we were out of the way, she seems to have worried away at the plastic until she had almost pulled it off completely. That was when Mrs jml found her.
