Doctor Required to Attend to Glasgow Police Box

Glasgow is one of the few places in the UK that still has its original 1960s Police Boxes on the streets.

Of course several generations of youngsters have grown up thinking that Police Boxes are in fact the TARDIS, a space and time travelling machine.

It is always great to see the real thing - but I was horrified today to find that this one on Buchanan Street has been grievously vandalised with advertising hoardings.

I hung around for a few minutes hoping that Matt Smith might pop up and burn the offending boards away with a blast from his sonic - but alas Glasgow still needs a Doctor.
