we'd had enough of each other this morning so we diffused the tension by going to the woods with cb2's pal and his dad and wee brother. it was muddy. cb2 had no wellies. but he's not a boy to mind too much. wee brother wouldn't walk so played 40;40 and football on his dad's shoulders. found more people in the playground and drank hot chocolate.

cb1 got us playing a family game of cards. she's very keen on group games. we didnt manage to be very relaxed. but i dont think it puts her off.
