Bobs bird army

My neighbor can do the most amazing things with even a pine cone or an old pipe bowl. He gave me these birds today as presents in return for a straw owl that I found in Italy. The cone birds are great - when you bring them inside from the cold they are closed and in the warm they fluff their "feathers".

It was great to see Farina today, get several layers of dirt off her and take her out - she was so keen on getting rid of her energy, all the time pointing her toes in trot... Big birds flying overhead that enjoyed the wind and played in it. 2008 will be better than 2007 which was the worst year of my life till now!
