Tarot

This week's Weekend Blip Challenge is "MYSTERY".

Tarot cards have their origins in the 15th century as conventional cards based no doubt on more ancient card games. The mystics and occultists muscled in during the 18th century to use the cards as a means of divination for which they are more commonly associated today.

Like more conventional decks of cards there are 4 suits of 14 cards, however it has a 21 card trump suit with the well known characters, plus the fool, which together are known as the 'major arcana'. It is this last lot that are used by the mystics and assorted nutters, but if it floats your boat who am I to criticize. To paraphrase the bard, "Horatio, your dreams suck".
