Cameron's edited life

A Glasgow Institution

This is the front door to the famous Slater's mens' outfitters.

This shop is in the Guinness Book of Records as having the largest permanent selection of tin flutes.

Ralph Slater (presumably 'Big Ralphie' to his Glaswegian pals) started out in business selling decent quality suits to the working man, and then had the good sense to attract the attention of the Glasgow Polismen who were making the step into the CID, and needed some smart business clothes.

They still offer attractive deals to those involved in law-enforcement, and you'll have to go far to find a PC in Glasgow without a suit bought here.

It was raining in the west of Scotland today, but you probably knew that already.
