MOREPORK ninox novaeseelandiae noveaeseelandiae

The New Zealand Native Owl.
We have been to Willowbank Wildlife Park with our Grandson this morning and since Im currently on an Owl hunt could not just resist this little Morepork.
He was hiding in a very dark corner of his aviary and very difficult to photograph.
This is the best of several shots, avoiding the wire netting, but just as I snapped this shot he decided to fluff his wings.
Moreporks are a little larger then the Little Owl I blipped the other day.
