Chicken!

Introducing Cluck (in the foreground), Peck (the black and green lady) and Flap (who produces white eggs). They arrived yesterday.

Cluck is jolly friendly, the others spend most of their time squawking from the hut. The cat's been doing a great deal of long distance observation. They have to stay in their run for the next week before they're allowed out to destroy my meagre beginnings of a garden.

Have they laid eggs yet? Who knows. Every time I go to check the egg spot one of them has their fat, fluffy, feathery tummy over it. It's one they're keeping close to their chests!
