Sunday football, howling wind

With the snow and frozen ground gone, it was back to snapping Sunday morning, pub team, football today. But while it may have shown 10c on the car display, there was a mighty and chilly wind blowing which had everyone battling against it, including the corner flags, like this one, which frantically flapped and snapped in the constant gale like the sail of a boat in a storm.
Very refreshing, in a way....

Holding the camera steady on a slow shutter speed to catch the flag's motion was a wee challenge, even a hefty D3 and zoom. Good thing the post Xmas diet hasn't had a great effect yet!
