Guinea Pig Zero

Cold Street

This was a quiet, indoor day and I looked for a blip during a short walk to a local cafe. I use this shot because it shows the uniform grey-blue of the evening sky and, hopefully, the icy stillness of the air.

These houses were built during the 1920s as part of a small section called Garden Court. At close proximity there are tall apartment buildings, simple two-storey row homes, and these more upscale three-storey twins. The mixing of economies somehow makes the vicinity a shoe-size more desirable to this day.

By the time I had blipped and made it home, my face was frozen.
