Rain

We had rain today. Not the usual fine misty rain that just wets the leaves, but proper rain that soaks into the soil. After several hours trees and shrubs have perked up, making me realise how dry they were.

I didn't have an afternoon nap and now I am very tired. Can't see me staying awake until my usual bedtime.
