Deer on moor

Nice to see some deer on the moor today. If you click back to yesterdays blip and look at the wee hills in the background, then that's where this blip was taken. Gives some sort of perspective of how near the house they are. Last year some other deer ventured down to about a meter from our garden. Seeing a deer up close is just one of these perfect moments, they are so powerful and beautiful. They stayed near by until the 'powers that be' decided to cull them as they were a danger to the cars getting to work in the morning. Hope these guys and gals decide to stay where they are - much better roaming free on the moor I think!
