Red-Bellied Woodpecker

This is a male who fortuitously landed on the feeder and spared you all from a snow picture. He definitely saw me at the window but didn't leave until he had a large piece of suet in his beak.

Here's a female on the same feeder in December.

It's snowing, but you knew that, and I'm headed out in it for awhile and will catch up with you all tonight. Cheers from a wintery wonderland!
