Daffodils

The leek and the daffodil are the national emblems of Wales, the daffodil being the most popular in recent times, as it's more colourful and attractive to wear in a buttonhole on St David's Day.
On our walk this morning I couldn't believe it when I saw these daffodils, which must have bloomed at least a week ago. That means they were probably out for New Year. Amazing - especially as they are growing quite near to the sea.
