Turns out that in this escapade I actually broke my bone in my hand.

Went to the Western General Hospital minor injuries clinic tonight, got an X-Ray which confirmed the break.

Would like to say; I love the NHS and all who sail in her. And, I hope the tories die a slow lingering death (hopefully before they destroy our fine free health service).

I asked the nurse if I should do anything;

"Avoid furniture".

I will endeavour to do so. Don't think I'll be tinkling much ivory or plucking much guitar for a wee while.
