hooray for coming through the rain in cumbria to the gorgeousness of the hills north of carlisle

back home from oxfordshire on the train - played endless games of spotty dog, drank hot chocolate, looked out of the window and generally felt v pleased with ourselves for not being in the car feeling knackered and shouting at the kids.

the hall is now a mass of christmas presents unearthed from the suitcases and the kids are blobbing out to the new dvds. good to be home

(..and back to a broadband connection, she says in a slightly nerdy way..having spent the evening catching up on a week of blips. my diligence is out of character.)
