Bison-Grass

We didn't just drink this weekend, but cocktails and alcohol did account for a large part of the 48hrs that the girlies were with me.

Saturday was down-right miserable weather-wise. With the snow completely gone and the lumps of ice reduced to cigarette butts, it was a pretty ugly day. (An oxymoron if ever there was one) Still, not to be dissuaded and with a newbie to Warsaw in our midst, it was off to the Old Town with our brollies to do the rounds. Timed it well - ending up in a pierogi restaurant between the Rynek and Barbican for a much-needed (honey) beer and some, erm, pierogi! We plumped for a selection of 20 pieces between the four of us - some boiled and some baked, some with meat, some without. All delicious and just the ticket to keep us going.

A very quick Sephora & Kappahl (Polish clothes shop selling magic jeans no less) stop at the mall before heading home for tea, brownies and a couple of hours of sofa-time before a pre-dinner cocktail and post-cocktail dinner and post-dinner drinks, out on the town. Lovely!
