The granddaughter

After a wonderful week of holiday fun, the granddaughters went home this morning. Mum and Dad were really looking forward to seeing them!
Big brother has stayed on for a bit longer though, so the house still has plenty of extra life in it.
We forget how wonderful it is to have young people around, their enthusiasm for life is fantastic. I just turn a blind eye to the wet towels, togs and clothes that seem to get strewn from one end of the house to the other.
