Caroline - we will sail again

Caroline, a tired looking barge has been moored here for a good while. At the intersection of the M4 Motorway and the Mullingar Bypass the road rises as it crosses the Royal Canal. Usually we all whiz by, not noticing the water below.

This morning the midlands were blanketed in a very heavy freezing fog so car speeds were greatly reduced. I stopped a few times on my journey as I tried to capture the sun hidden behind the haze. See here - hazy sun
