A hard frost!

It was -6 as I set off for golf this morning at 8am. We played on winter greens in the bright sunshine. The frost stayed in the valleys all day long. We could look across to The Solway and see that it was filled with fog. When I got home I found that our house ( which is just 2 miles from The Solway ) was in the freezing fog, and had been all day long! I don't think we'll be venturing out tonight!
