The fool on the hill

By mooncoin

I called in at Westmill Wind Farm purely to get some pictures. I had to go up a narrow lane with a sign telling me I wasn't allowed, so when I saw an old lady walking her dog I thought I'd better turn on the charm as I naively thought she'd be part of this co-operative. She more or less told me she didn't care I was there and didn't care for these 'monstrosities' either. She said she was a local and that she'd not had a decent night's sleep since they were put up. It was at that point I realised it was more than likely that all those tree hugging idealist co-operative members (2400 of them) can't even see them from their houses - never mind hear them.
