A welcome sight

Busy day working but had to nip out to pick up a hire car so took the opportunity to take the kitchen compost up to the allotment. Refilled the bird feeder and was in a bit of a rush so almost overlooked this sweet primrose in bloom.

I didn't crop the picture down to the primrose so as to show it in context - almost overgrown by some brambles that seem to have invaded the back border while my back was turned.
