Cosmopolitan

It started with a Polish girl and myself attempting to start playing volleyball here. We arrived at the place, and found out that instead of a big hall, there was only a little gym, at the moment occupied by people doing pilates or something. But there was to be volleyball afterwards, so we got changed.

Now the whole room was pretty small - maybe 8x10m - and it had a low ceiling at maybe 3m height. That in itself is already challenging. But the most particular thing was that there was a huge white pillar in the middle of the room!

They just hung up the net against the pillar and then we were told that the pillar acted as a team player, haha. So if it hit it, it counted as 1 person touching the ball, and you could continue without a problem (unless of course it had already been touched three times by the team). Also they had a hard rule for playing 3 times on each side - which I just kept forgetting :) haha - and the ball was like a children's play ball, not a real volleyball, so it was super light which was of course horrible with the low ceiling. So all in all we had lots of fun :D

Afterwards we went for aperitivi with two of her friends and a great night out was had :)
