carrot diversity

I love soup.

I love vegetables.

In fact, I pretty much love food.

When making some vegetable soup, it struck me that there were a lot of odd-shaped carrots. Then I wondered why I thought they were odd. They were fairly straight, but some were long, others short, some thin, others not.

They were not uniform. They were not EU standard.

They were also taking longer to prepare given their diversity.

Then I realised I was giving far too much head space to a carrot or two and took a picture.

A problem shared is a problem solved, after all!
