variation on a cactus...

as long as the christmas cactus will give me some blooms, i figure i'll try something new with processing... why not?

i wanted a close-up and it turned out a bit more blurry than i expected but.... then i decided i kind of liked it... so i went with it anyway 'cuz the more i looked at it, the more i liked it...

and isn't that the way it is with a lot of things? food, drinks, clothes, cars, books, people? we try 'em out and if they fit, we call 'em keepers...

i decided this one was a keeper.
