'old' money

I love this sign.
There is a nearby village called Sixpenny Handley. However, when the old road signs were being put up, it was obviously too long a name to fit and therefore was shortened to 6D Handley. Brilliant.
Sadly the newer signs all say Sixpenny rather than 6p - the highways agency have obviously lost their sense of humour over the years!
