Spontaneous

So, what did I say to my son to get that unusual spontaneous reaction? For once, nothing silly nor inappropriate for a 10 year old. Been there, done that ;-)

Alex has been begging me for a while now to come along on one of my "REAL" mountain biking rides. Not that we haven't done any together but I have kept them let's say...basic. Not too long, nor technical, nor steep...limit boring ;-)

So today, we went for a nice walk above the city and I showed him what I meant by "REAL". It gets much steeper further down :-)

I love his reaction, very similar to mine, only a bit candid: the more impossible it looks, the bigger the smile. You have to be a "REAL" mountain biker to understand.
