Cat Looking Through A Hole

Yes, not the whole
of him today.
Just the face
of a cat who'll
soon be purring.

Well, purring as soon as
I spoon some Whiskas
into his empty bowl.

He's been kept waiting.
His Majesty's needs
have, temporarily, been forsaken.

He's had to have his picture taken.
