The Allotment

Probably the first in a series of allotment shots.

As part of my love of cooking, growing fresh produce is key.
Over the past three or four years we have lived off the plot from May through to November or December without the need to top up on vegetable from the shops or supermarkets; hoorah!!!! - and stick that in your pipe mr tesco!! - I will not even give you the privilege of CAPITAL lettering!!!!.

Old clique I know but nothing tastes better than greens cooked within minutes of being picked.

January is a bit barren on the allotment as is reflected but there are a few cabbages, leeks and sprouts to be had.
