Could it be Dresden?

A very good friend has asked me to find out what this piece is and how much it could be worth.

I don't know very much about it at all.

One thing I did notice is that the Billiard table doesn't have any pockets.

Were the first tables made without pockets and the rules changed at a later date?

It's interesting, anyone know about these things?

It's quite a large piece, about 20 inches x 12 inches and stands about 10 inches high..
