IKEA Are Not Great

The IKEA wardrobes arrived this morning. They said anytime between 7am and 2pm. They got here just after 7. This is Early. Too ealy to be faffing around with huges pieces of wood and woefully inaccurate instructions.

Anyway, the shells were assembled, levelled and only lightly sworn at. Time for the doors. Oh and would you look at that - that panel's busted. Pretty sure that wasn't the one ordered. So trot off to IKEA to ask for a replacement. No bother they said - here's your replacement.

Splendid.

Back home, open up the replacement to find it's a replacement for a completely different wardrobe...

It was about here the hammer was taken away and most of the sharp things and I had a bit of a sit down. Oh, come on, what's 10 hours out of my day ?

So a Grumpy Blip today of some of the big meccano pieces that have to complete the beautiful wardrobe. Tomorrow. After IKEA have produced the correct replacement. Which means going there again. It'll be fine. All over by lunchtime. Easy. You wait and see.
