In The Bowl

What a busy day! A few of us mums and toddlers headed to the beach today, and then on to Portobello Indoor Bowling Club for a coffee or two. I took so many photos of the kids on the beach, but as I posted one of Theo yesterday I thought I'd put one of the bowling shots up instead.
It's remarkably peaceful watching people bowling, though there is always a competitive undercurrent bubbling away among the players. This quartet caught my eye on account of the bright jumpers they were wearing. They are patiently waiting as the latest bowl slowly closes in on the jack.
