Close encounter

Was stumped for a moment (sorry!) when I went for a lunchtime walk. Spotted a lost a pair of old fashioned motor bike (or car) wing mirrors looking at me on a shady footpath in Livingston.

I guess stuck there for someone to find, I thought it was a relative of Wall-E at first!
