Optomistic

Spent all the (daylight) hours of today locked into a conference room thrashing out some rather esoteric points that are extremely important to our business and regulations but in the grand scheme of life, the universe and everything pretty trivial really.

So no real time to shoot other than this quick grab shot. Given that the temperature here is well below zero and everywhere is covered in snow I thought these signs advising the hotel guests that 'No Diving' was allowed and that there was 'No Lifeguard on Duty' were a bit out of place on a wall beside a large flat expanse of snow....I guess there's a swimming pool under there somewhere!

Oh yes...something else I noticed today, a lot of the houses around here still have Christmas decorations up....what's that all about? Does Christmas come at a different time of year in the USA?
