Cold, Hard Gas

I had a picture of my outside thermometer from before dawn that showed 4 degrees(that's about -16 Celsius). It's nice to have your blip in your pocket so early in the day. Takes off all that pressure to come up with a good one.

Then, as I stood on my front porch after arriving home just before dark, I saw my neighbor's gas meter.

It was a tough choice but I think the one I picked does a better job of conveying the feeling of cold and isolation.
